Planet Lamps with 16 Colors (From Real Space Data Images)

Add some space to your place. These planet lamps are made using 3D printers. I use publicly available images of space to create a 3D model of the Planets. The models are 3D printed out of environmentally friendly PLA plastic.

They fit neatly on shelves, desks and end tables. They add a finishing touch to offices, bedrooms, living rooms, and study areas. They make great gifts for people who love space, science, astrology, and astronomy.

The Lamps are...

○ 5 inches in diameter.

○ Lightweight (weigh about the same as a cup of water)

○ Durable (they can survive a drop or two). 

The battery charge lasts several hours. You change the color by touching the silver ring on the bottom, or using the remote. Colors include white, orange, red, blue, purple, green, yellow etc.

Pluto is the only 'planet' that is not created with real images. We do not have hi resolution scans of Pluto yet. I use an artists rendering to create Pluto. Planets that have less detail (Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Venus) will show a line up the side. This is a result of the 3D printing process. This line is more hidden on the detailed planets Saturn’s rings do not light up.

The top of Mars has a “polar peak” which is a thin section that lets more light through. Available Planets: The Sun, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Earth, the Moon
